Important Information & Disclaimer
Last updated: June 19, 2026
This page sets out important information about the FXForesight platform (the “Platform”), operated by FXForesight. Please read it carefully. By accessing or using the Platform you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the statements below.
1. Information only — not advice
FXForesight provides historical foreign-exchange market data, statistical analysis, and general educational commentary. Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, hedging, or trading advice, and nothing on the Platform should be treated as a personalized recommendation. The Platform does not take into account the specific financial situation, investment objectives, risk profile, tax position, or particular needs of any individual user.
Users are solely responsible for their own currency decisions. Before acting on any information shown on the Platform, you should consult a qualified, licensed professional advisor (such as a financial advisor, treasury specialist, tax advisor, or attorney) who can evaluate your individual circumstances.
2. No execution, custody, or money transmission
FXForesight does not execute currency conversions, foreign-exchange trades, derivatives, forwards, options, swaps, or any other financial transactions on behalf of users. FXForesight does not hold, receive, transmit, store, or take custody of client funds, fiat currency, digital assets, securities, or any other client property.
All conversions and payments referenced on the Platform are executed by the user’s own bank, payment provider, or broker, under that third party’s separate agreement with the user.
3. Not a registered firm
FXForesight is not a registered investment adviser under the U.S. Investment Advisers Act of 1940 or under any state investment adviser law. FXForesight is not a registered broker or dealer with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission or a member of FINRA or SIPC. FXForesight is not a registered futures commission merchant, introducing broker, commodity trading advisor, or commodity pool operator with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and is not a member of the National Futures Association.
FXForesight is not a money services business, money transmitter, or currency exchanger under U.S. federal law (31 U.S.C. §5330 / 31 C.F.R. Chapter X) or under any state money-transmission statute, and is not registered as such with FinCEN or with any state regulator.
Nothing on the Platform constitutes an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, exchange, hedge, hold, or otherwise transact in any currency, security, derivative, commodity, or other financial instrument.
4. How the Timing Score and “common approaches” are generated
The Timing Score, scenario projections, and any “common approaches” text shown on the Platform are produced by a deterministic statistical formula that is applied identically to all users. The formula combines observable historical inputs — including 30-day trend momentum, annualized realized volatility, days remaining until the invoice due date, and the schedule of upcoming economic events — into a single numeric reading of the data.
Because the formula is identical for every user and does not consider any individual user’s financial situation, risk tolerance, or objectives, its output is general information, not personalized advice. The same inputs will always produce the same score regardless of who is viewing it.
Historical patterns and statistical analysis do not predict future performance. Foreign-exchange markets are influenced by macroeconomic, geopolitical, and idiosyncratic factors that no statistical model can fully anticipate. Past behavior of any currency pair is not a guarantee or indication of future behavior.
5. About our market data, volatility estimates, and range calculations
The volatility figures, timing scores, expected price ranges, and cost impact estimates shown on FXForesight are calculated from historical market data using standard statistical methods (primarily annualized volatility derived from recent price history). These figures represent what has been typical for a given currency pair under normal market conditions over the periods analyzed. They are intended to give you a sense of how much a currency pair has historically moved and to provide context for your payment timing decisions — not to predict with certainty how much it will move in the future.
Financial markets do not always behave according to historical patterns. The ranges and volatility estimates we display assume market conditions broadly similar to the historical periods used in our calculations. Actual future movements may be higher or lower than these estimates, and may bear little resemblance to historical patterns during periods of market stress or structural change.
Currency markets are periodically subject to extreme, rapid movements that fall well outside normal historical ranges. These include, but are not limited to: surprise central bank policy decisions or emergency interventions (such as the Swiss National Bank’s removal of the EUR/CHF floor in January 2015, which caused EUR/CHF to move more than 15% within minutes); major geopolitical events including conflicts, elections with unexpected outcomes, or sovereign debt crises; sudden global risk-off events such as pandemic-level shocks or financial system stress; flash crashes driven by algorithmic trading or liquidity withdrawal; and other low-probability, high-impact events that historical volatility estimates by their nature cannot fully anticipate. During such events, currency pairs can move multiples of their typical daily or weekly range within hours, and the “worst case” figures shown on our platform may be significantly understated relative to actual market outcomes.
For any foreign currency payment, particularly those with longer time horizons or larger amounts, we recommend treating our range estimates as indicative of typical conditions rather than as bounds on possible outcomes. Your actual cost of conversion may be materially higher or lower than any figure shown on this platform, particularly if an extraordinary market event occurs between the time you upload your invoice and the time you make your payment. FXForesight does not predict, and cannot predict, when such events will occur or how large their market impact will be.
If the scale of your foreign currency exposure is such that an extreme market movement would have a material impact on your business, we strongly recommend supplementing the information provided on this platform with guidance from a qualified treasury advisor, your bank’s corporate FX desk, or a regulated financial institution that can discuss hedging strategies appropriate to your specific circumstances. FXForesight provides market information and historical analysis only — we are not a registered investment adviser or regulated financial institution, and nothing on this platform constitutes a recommendation to hedge, not hedge, or take any specific action with respect to your foreign currency exposure.
6. Market data
Rates, volatilities, charts, and other market figures displayed on the Platform are indicative only and are based on mid-market reference data sourced from third-party providers. They are not executable prices. Achievable rates will vary depending on the user’s existing agreement with their bank or FX provider, transaction size, market liquidity at the time of execution, prevailing spread, and other market conditions. FXForesight does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any third-party market data.
7. No warranties; limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FXForesight disclaims any liability for losses or damages of any kind arising out of, or in connection with, a user’s reliance on information displayed on the Platform. Any decision to convert, hedge, or otherwise transact in any currency is the sole responsibility of the user.
8. Jurisdiction
The Platform is operated from the United States. Information on the Platform is not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where its publication or availability would be contrary to local law or regulation. Users are responsible for compliance with the laws of their own jurisdiction.
